The Pharma R&D Coater has the exterior appearance of an elegant
fabricated box with the coating pan supported in a tangential position
of 35° to 90°. The entire drive mechanism is concealed within
the box leaving only the hub, supporting the coating pan, projected
outwards to enable vertical rotary momentum.

COATING
PAN :
The Coating Pan consists of a central cylindrical portion fabricated
from SS 316 quality material. The front side forms an opening
known as the " pan mouth " . Baffles are provided
along the interior wall for efficient coating. The pan is detachable
and comes in an array of sizes (4”/ 6” / 8” /12” – optional
). |

HEATER
:
The Heater heats the inlet air to the desired temperature required
to dry the tablets. It can be controlled to deliver the air
at 30°C (ambient) to 90°C |

AIR
BLOWER :
The Air Blower is an instrument to supply the drying air and is
located inside the box with an SS 304 pipeline. This air is blown
into the coating pan through the heater and is utilized to dry
the tablets. |

EXHAUST
SYSTEM :
The stainless steel 304 Exhaust Pipes clear the unwanted fumes
and dust (generated by core tables & coating material) from
the coating pan. |

SPRAY
GUN :
The Spray Gun delivers droplets of the coating solution onto
the tablet bed. Its superb performance is achieved by use of
a new range of nozzles made up of SS 316 and metered dozing
with the help of a peristaltic pump. It is easily adjustable
along with its stand. |

PERISTALTIC
PUMP :
Peristaltic pump works on the principle that lies behind peristaltic
movement i.e. Positive displacement & no back flow. No contamination
of fluid or pump; as there is no valves / seals / glands to
leak or fail. Instant stop / start & reverse facility. Peristaltic
pump delivers the meter dosing and uniform spray on the tablet
bed. |

CONTROL
PANEL :
The advance control panel, offers complete control over the
various settings for the coater the setting include – Instant
on / off of the coating pan and pan speed controller along with
digital RPM indicator. On/ off of the heater with temp controller
/ indicator interlocked with hot air blower. Also on / off for
exhaust blower and main switch on / off. |
